**Rorg - Privacy Policy**

This Privacy Policy explains how Rorg ("Software"), developed by Ryan Schubert ("Developer"), handles user data. By using Rorg, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

**1. Data Collection**

Rorg does **not** collect, store, transmit, or share any personally identifiable information (PII) or user data. All operations and file validations are performed locally on your device.

**2. VirusTotal Integration**

Rorg can optionally connect to the VirusTotal API to validate file hashes. This requires users to input their own API key. When used, the hash of each file (not the file itself) is submitted to VirusTotal's servers. No personally identifiable information or file contents are ever transmitted.

**3. API Key Responsibility**

Rorg does not store or share your VirusTotal API key. The key is used only during the active session to authenticate requests you initiate. It is your responsibility to keep this key secure.

**4. Local Log Files**

Rorg saves scan results to local CSV or Excel files on your computer. These files are not transmitted or accessed by the Developer. You are solely responsible for securing and managing these logs.

**5. Updates and Telemetry**

Rorg does not contain any automatic telemetry, usage tracking, or background data collection. If future versions implement auto-update features, they will be clearly disclosed and strictly opt-in.

**6. Third-Party Services**

This Software integrates with VirusTotal, a service provided by Chronicle Security (a subsidiary of Google). Use of VirusTotal is subject to their own [Terms of Service](https://support.virustotal.com/hc/en-us/articles/115002118525) and Privacy Policy.

**7. Children's Privacy**

Rorg is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. The Developer does not knowingly collect information from children.
